Some Illustrations and Drawings
For many years, Gerald has doodled and drawn pictures to fill time, acquire new techniques, and practise. Here are some samples.
I have always enjoyed using a black fine-liner to draw on cartridge paper. These are just doodles.
My scanner needs to be replaced. The whote line down the middle of the illustration takes away the vivid edges. This media is prismacolor pencils and black fine-liner on cartridge paper.
Each year as Christmas approached, I would start a new illustration. This one is of some bears playing in the woods. I have used this one as an identifier on social media sites.
During a layover that lasted three or four hours on a trip home from the Middle East, I used my time to draw. I felt tired and the pen just moved over the paper filling in white space.
