Have you ever found something new that you can’t stop thinking about? That’s what happened to me when I learned about the amazing black soldier fly larva. It inspired me so much that I had to write about and draw it.
Black soldier flies help make compost by eating different kinds of waste and pooping. They are also good food for chickens and reptiles. Farmers use their waste to make soil better for healthier plant growth.
Black soldier fly larvae are maggots, and I HATE maggots! That’s why I can’t stop thinking about them. So, I’ve used that energy to work on a new book. It doesn’t have a name or cover yet, but I’m working on the inside pages.
Meet Marvin … and stay tuned.
